I am the owner of an 05 plate Octavia Elegance 1.9TDI PD. I have had the car from new with no problems other than the stupid washer pipe design. Earlier this year my rear washers appeared to stop working. This, I discovered, was due to a conection in the left side of the boot behind the trim. Flooding the boot and my tow hitch electrics.....Not happy! Fixed that. Then last month the conection to the rear washer jet popped of. Now I fear I need a new wiper motor.....Not happy again! Who designed it like that and why?

Otherwise I love the car. Just need to know where to get a replacement rear wiper motor cheap.

I already had a lot of help to fix broken gear selector - thanks! I also found that the passenger side front suspension spring has broken - so I'm off to the garage for that! However, electrical issues ongoing. Here's the story: skoda octavia mk3 2013 tdi estate Car sat for 8 months. AGM battery flat and won't recharge New AGM battery Not recoded as yet. Battery at 11 volts. On overnight charge with smart charger AGM, rises to 12 volts. clicking sound (starter solenoid?) when battery is attac

I have always thought my rear suspension a little soft when towing or even with a full tank. I fitted rubber assisters and this has helped hugely but I would like a little more permanent solution. How can I tell if springs such as these - https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lesjofors/9735347 are heavier duty? It does say for towing. Would fitting new shocks (Bilstein B6?) help as well? I suppose crawling under to see what shocks I have, and what springs I have may a good idea anyway? I think the
