VRS UNDERTRAY

Featured Replies

Seems the snow has shredded my undertray just wondering the what problems i would get without it .

Also does anyone know where and how much to replace.

cheers guys

no problems whatsoever, theres quite a few people on here without them,

they are simply a splash guard

I've been running without one for ages, it came off when i ran over a deer

I actually prefer not having one as it's one less thing to faff about with when working on the car.

My car's never had one from new. No issues!

Ditto Rob :)

Although I seem to have broken one of my side guards in the snow

Yeah I don't think the vRS came with an undertray.

Just the small central splash guard at the front, which joints at either side to the side splash guards. Obviously they stop water and crap splashing up into your engine bay. I'd say the most important one is the side splash guard covering the aux belt and pulleys.

Got mine from Skoda, think they cost about £25 each.

It's the side ones that always get mullered. Mine exploded when I reversed off some frozen snow and it got snagged!

yes the vrs only has the smaller ones fitted, the larger full length ones are fitted to diesels, for ours its £27.41 inc vat but as above the main ones are the side ones
