Replacement discs & pads

Featured Replies

Its time for a set of replacement discs & pads - any recommendations for sensible upgrades on the OE discs fitted to my 2005 Octy vRS tfsi estate? The options on ebay are bewildering and I'm not sure if its actually worth it as Jorily Skoda parts have quoted me £155 for a full set of OE pattern parts (discs & pads). I don't do any track days and I'm just thought something with a bit more bite might be in order if it didn't cost too much more. Thanks in advance.

Have a look at EBC Ultimax discs and EBC Green or Redstuff pads, will probably work out 80 or 90 quid dearer but should be worth it.

Thanks for the recommendation but I'm having a problem finding the right disc, There are discs for the 1.8 vRS (2001-2006) but that isn't my model as its a 2005 2.0 tfsi vRS estate (just about the first, if not the first, registered in the country). In addition the disc height seems to be wrong (listed at 35mm when the OE disc is 50mm). There are discs for 2.0 2004- but they are the wrong diameter (280mm rather than 312mm). Can you post me a link to the right EBC disc? Thanks.
