Well I've just fitted EBC Red Stuff pads all round (on OEM discs). Not too expensive and definitely a significant improvement on the OEM pads, and they're not even fully run in yet. I know a lot of people on here favour Ferodo pads, but they seem to be quite a bit dearer. The EBC's were £140 all in, which was pretty good. I bought from EBC Direct - couldn't fault the service. Good vehicle finder on their site too: http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/

Have a word with Sarah @ AwesomeGTi.

Hello

Yes , we do Tarox discs and pads for the Octy , Tarox discs are heat treaded and hand finnished so will last longer

The G88`s are really nice , and our main seller in all the discs that Tarox do

These are just grooved

Pads are superb quality too

Then we do the ZeroSixty discs , they are not much more that OEM and are dimpled and grooved instead of the drilled , so they will be less likely to crack around the drills

If you are interested http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/section.php?xSec=138&xPage=1

There is a link to a bit more info

Or just give me a shout back for any help

Sarah
