Front ARB for VRS

Featured Replies

Hi,

What make of FARB would you gys recommend? Would the OEM one be OK?

Cheers,

Yaro

As the Fabia is prone to understeer already I wouldn't go for a thicker one, the OEM one is fine.

It's an Octavia :)

Audi S3 upper and lower braces fit.

The lower brace just bolts in place - the holes are already there.

The upper brace requires drilling the strut tops.

Part numbers from a main Audi dealer are:

Upper strut brace 8L9 805 629 A

Lower brace 8N0 199 403 B

Bolts for lower brace N 104 679 01 2x

Captive nuts N 909 147 01 2x

A rear swaybar makes a huge difference. I have a Whiteline one.

My car is Octavia. I have lower and upper braces fitted, whiteline RARB. I just would like to fit FARB. I have seen OEM for the front but do not know if it would be ok. People tend to go for the uprated parts...

Cheers,

Yaro

R32 FARB

I don't need to say more,do i?

+1 on the R32 FARB

Doh! That's enough late night posting for me :)

Could you recommend any source for R32 FARB?

Many thanks.

Yeh VW..... :giggle:

These are not normally for sale outside of dealers as are popular for conversions and Octy drivers like us.

I got mine on EBay as the R32 owner was upgrading to EIbach.

Not sure places like GSF, Euro Parts sell them.

Could try TPS as this place sells OEM stuff at better than dealers prices.
