LED Boot lights?

Featured Replies

2003 Ocky elegance RHD

Very happy bunny apart from warped discs. however want to improve lighting in the boot. (only goes to show that someone on Skodas design team should get the boot - no pun inteneded) When I load for a trip and often arrive 9usually the UK at night) can's see a thing.

Does anyone know of a simple LED that I can fit to the tailgate to shed light on the preceedings? Would it be a simple case of connecting to the existing light?

appreciate any guidance

I fitted a second identical boot light on the right hand side as there is already a mounting hole for it. Just ran the wires from the existing light.

snap,. Did the same. May also change the bulbs to something brighter

thats what i did too.

i did try led lights in there after wards but the led's end up spotting on the boot floor rather than flooding the boot with a normal festoon bulb. so i stuck with running to normal bulbs.

you could try a set of these and see how you go. they are bigger and pretty bright as well.
