Full custom made stainless steel exhaust, lowered on eibach pro kit around 35mm,

6000K HID kit, Tinted Windows

VRS specs: 52 plate octavia vrs. 106k miles . full stamped skoda history. eye brows which can come off easy if you dont like. wind deflectors which can also come off if you dont like. leon cupra r front spliter. toyo sport front mount intercooler (fmic). s/s exact replica of standard exhaust sounds the same as standard just with more power because itsmore free flowing.. k/n typhoon induction kit sounds nice with a deep tone.. half leather seats. climate control. sport pedals (standard). fully electric

What year is your merc? I'd say keep the merc unless it's a fair bit older.

well the skoda is worth about £2500max

so if that what you value your car at then do it

i love vrs with a passion but in this case i would deffo stay with the merc

Are you mad? Surely the Merc is worth a fair bit more than the Octy?

Saying that, nowt wrong with a 100k Octy vRS if its been looked after properly

PS I've heard that with springs you sometimes have the dropped-ass-syndrome, I mean that the rear of the car is lowered more then the front, any truth in this?

nice one people that vrs you are talking is mine and yes i did ask for the swap because i think its well worth it i dont no where you are getting 2500 from westallc because you no nothing about these cars iv seen the the stupid questions you ask. the car is worth about 3400 and the merc was a 99 on a t plate in the worst colour blue but i fancyed an auto for a change. but nice one anyway ill be sure to keep my eye on you.

looking to get some alloys soon as im going to need new tyres soon , just afew questions

do 18s slow the acceleration down much ? is it worth going for 17s as i dont want to slow the acceleration down

how much would you be able to lower her without the wheels rubbing ? ( the boot does get loaded full when we go camping so thats an issue )

did the very early model VRS come in 16s ?

na mate a baby already and shes perfect, look if you payed that then fair play i appologise but around hear they seem to be a bit more and be be honest with you before i bought the car i was on hear asking people wht they are like and they all said get one but i think they are slow and not impressed yet thats why i wanted a change.

depends what you do to them if you think it is slow...

i have destroyed many a faster car and have bullied a couple of new focus rs out the way

iv got a fmic inter cooler because i was told that you can get turbo lag from the big ones unless you have big power, 007p dv , s/s cat custom exhaust with two silencers because i dont like it two loud and a jabba map but i think its because iv always had scoobys. i races a focus st 2 days ago and there was no difference in speed maybe they just feel slow because they are big.

the bit about big fmic is incorrect buddy there a chage system so there will be no noticable lag

you need to do down pipe and to free a few ponies as thats a massive restriction

intake side i.e turbo intake pipe again masive restriction

then the main ones are not power related fully poly bush the car, good suspension, and the most inportant a lsd

but you must consider a scooby is 280 bhp standard with 4x4 so uncomparable to a vrs wich is a family hatch lol

it what you wanna do put a ihi and run 320 and you will have fun with them lol

mate runs 600 bhp in his skyline but struggle to keep pace with my mate running 375 in a pug 106 all about the weight and size of the car
