Audi RS4 18'' Alloys

Featured Replies

Not much of a topic for most people but figured I'd post up a few pics of what RS4 18'' look like mounted on a Superb.

Old Audi S-Lines 17'' Alloys. Was going to keep these as winter wheels but I've decided to sell them on. Will probably throw them on eBay later this week or next.

New 18'' RS4s. Happy enough with them .... for now.

They're mounted on 15mm spacers there's a few other pics of spacers and stuff if you click my sig, but I guess you'd have to be pretty bored for that. :p

Wouldn't you know it though, yesterday (possibly day before) I'm guessing some fool whacked my car right on the front passenger side wheel arch and stoved it in. Not a happy bunny. Not sure if it can be dent repaired.

Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated? It's rather tarnished the fun of throwing new alloys on. Bah, nevermind. How easy is it to get paint matches for the Superb?

Cheers man, yeah I heard about the free listing too. All good.

nice wheels

Wheels look good

I know halfrauds have (or id have) colour chart things they can put on your car to find a paint colour match (just a sample colour with a hole in the middle). This worked well for my Signal Amber mk2 escort :p

Looks good Russ and an inch makes all the difference.........

Reckon you will shift on the 17's no problem and that's a shame about the arch but I reckon it would be possible to get that dent knocked out and then the paintwork 'detailed' out..........

The wheels look great mate

Yeah cheers for the comments fellas, reasonably happy with them. 18''s just about fill the wheel arches enough for the look I wanted. Would have preferred 19''s but the price of rubber climbs steeply. They look ok though ... for now at least. Who knows.

Nowhere near as slammed as Baker's but I'm doing mine on the cheap. Sure I must have pikey blood somewhere in my family. Baker, you're running 19''s with spacers and looking at mine I have no idea how yours doesn't catch on the top of the wheel arch when under load. My wheels extend out beyond the wheel arch ever so slightly. Yours must too.

As for the wheel arch, yeah it's a swine. The photo doesn't show all the damage because the flash obscures some of it. It's dented the flat part of the arch and bulged above the arch itself. Not sure if it can be repaired, hopefully so, I imagine filling it and respray will be a swine to do and a new arch will be expensive. It's not huge but it's in a prominent area and you see it from all angles. Bah. The paintwork isn't the issue, it's the deformation that I'm annoyed at.

Ah well, it's only a car. Metal and plastic ... well that's what I keep telling myself anyhow.

Hey Russ, mine was on the cheap mate, it's all about being the right place at the right time.......

I guess the thing to remember with mine is that I have some stretch on the tyres which helps and I am guessing my suspension set up is a lot harder than yours but I have had all 5 seats filled and hockey gear to France and back with no worries....

Seen a couple with them on, looks really good and suits the car.

Booked in for Monday, that and a dent on the boot to be fixed. They need to be reshaped, filled and sprayed unfortunately. Got a good price but still a sore point because neither the arch, nor the boot were my fault. It's the problem of owning a car these days .... you keep it s clean and shiny as you can and some fool drives into it. Had this happen maybe 5 or 6 times in my life and never, not once, has anyone ever left their details. I would .... but then again I reckon I was born in the wrong time.
