I am taking delivery of my FL VRS CR170 hatch next week. I enquired with the dealer about getting Eibachs fitted but they say they wont fit. They claim they have spoken to Skoda UK and they say they only fit pre-FL models. This doesn't sound right to me? I have seen other photos of other FL VRS' on here with them fitted (albeit only estates) so it should be possible?

Don't believe what you hear, they fit. I have KONI FSD with Eibachs fitted, no problem.

What?! I've done over 1000 miles on them already - lol :p

I don't think that dealer knows what he's talking about..

I called my dealer the other day to get a price for the lowering springs and the guy in the parts department told me Skoda didn't do any and I would have to go aftermarket. Instead I went to another dealer who knew what I was talking about!

Just think how much extra money a dealership could make if they had a clue what they were talking about!

Just looking at the prices of the springs on the Skoda Accessories site and it shows £195.74. That seems alot more than before Christmas when I checked even taking the VAT into consideration

That sounds about right for hatch. Estate ones are currently £138.
