iPod Integration Kits

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Have just swapped my 56 plate vRS TDi for a 58 plate, and took my aftermarket integrated iPod kit out of the old car, and had it fitted into the new one - hi fi the same it seems.

However, the audio quality is lousy - so I am using the integrated socket for now, but this doesn't power/control the iPod (hence wanting the kit fitting). Has anyone any suggestions as to why the audio quality should be so poor on the same hi-fi - is it something to do with this one having an auxilary audio socket installed already?

Cheers

Jim

If your ipod kit connects into the cd changer connections try changing the earth lead from pin 2 to pin 3.
