Hello everybody,

I have been quoted £495 for a remap from a local tuning center, does this sound like a good price?

Also i was thinking of putting a new exhaust on my car what is the best value for money one out there? (I don't want one of those loud ones ether) :p

Who's that with and where are you based?

Octy 1 generic remaps have come down a lot in price in recent years so that sounds expensive.

I paid £295 for mine with Angel Tuning. I think £300 is about average now. I'd shop around if I were you

Im in fife in sunny Scotland. So near edin and glasgow :wonder:

expensive if its a generic map...

i paid £250 for a custom map

£495 is well over the odds, I'd recommend R-Tech, had my remap on for 6000 miles, no problems, plus I did a lot of research before choosing them & did not read one review that was not glowing.

They are nice guys, I think the current rate is £250, & they will come to you, usually for £40 fuel costs,as you're in Scotland I guess it may be more.
