First post on here but I've been scrolling through the topics with interest for a few months now.

Yesterday my remote locking has stopped working... by that I mean the unlock button gets no response from the car at all. However the 'boot only' locking/unlocking mechanism and the locking button both work fine.

I now have to use the key to get into the car. Is this something to do with the battery in the remote fob itself or something completely different?

The only reason i dont think its the battery is because the other buttons are working. It could be worth a try replacing the battery just incase.

Otherwise i think you may have to have the key re-programmed or the key may have died.

The other key has packed up as well. That key was obviously the more worn out of the two so I presumed it had just died. The key thats just packed up now looks brand new and shouldn't be having battery issues but I suppose I'll have to try that first!

Replaced both batteries in both fobs and now both working fine! A weight off my mind!

Now just for it's annual service!
