P0101 Fault - VAG COM Help?

Featured Replies

I have had a problem with a P0101 - MAF/VAF fault code for the past few weeks - i have a Fabia 1.4mpi 2002 classic.

Last weekend i had the MAP sensor changed, in the hope it would fix the problem. Surprise surprise, my engine light is now back on again.

I am looking for advice on what people have experienced with this fault code before. I don't want to fork out over £100 on a new lambda sensor (was next on the list of possible problems) if i don't need to. Are there any simple things i could try (cleaning things, checking wiring etc....) that don't involve expensive parts?

Also, is there anyone in the Birmingham area that would be wiling to help me out with a VAG COM scan, so i can try to get a more specific idea of what is wrong? I have looked on the vag com map and tried to contact mluton, but couldn't seem to get a message through.

If anyone has any pointers on what i could try next, i'd be really grateful.

Many thanks.
