Had my Fabia VRS now a few weeks and I am thinking of giving it a good clean and some paint sealant. i have looked around on ebay for the autoglym lifeshine and they are about £15 there is also the supagaurd stuff as well but am not to sure whether they are genuine kits or not? also if the car has got swirl marks on it is it wise to put the sealant on top of this? will it make the swirl marks go away slightly?

so ones I get the product I was thinking about applying it like this: Wash, Clay bar, Wash, AG SRP, then apply the product.

Am I on the right sort of lines or am I well off?

I'd spend the money getting the swirls removed to be honest.

Is the car brand new or is it a second hand vRS?

To be honest while you can pick the AG Lifeshine product up cheap off eBay you would be better spending your money on something else that will do a longer lasting job. ............... :yes:

If the car has got swirl marks and scratches then you can use AG SRP to fill these and then seal over the top but more than likely they will re-appaear over time and I am not too sure how well a sealant sits over AG SRP over many months. AG SRP is esentially a filler so it will mask these smaller swirls and look like you have 'corrected' the paintwork, as stated though they will return.................... :yes:

I would consider, after the clay bar stage, a light machine polish with some Merzerna Final Finish, followed with Poorboys Black Hole Glaze and Poorboys EX sealant..

100X better than Autoglym Lifeshine.
