BSH Whistle etc

Featured Replies

Ok .. finally got the BSH trueseal fitted today. BUT ive got a few issues

ive noticed it whistles like mad over say 35mph.. any one else got this?

also.. 1 bolt to hold the metal casing in place doesnt seem enough. anyone got any workarounds for a more secure fitment?

I have this and it sounds like a strangled duck sometimes , the single bolt seems ok tho tbh.

Deja Vu.

Glad you got it fitted ok. Same as Pete with the bolt, it doesn't hold the airbox on mine completely tight but it doesn't cause a problem.

I posted on here the day after fitting mine regarding the noise - it's a 'known' thing with intakes and affects a few of them, BSH included as you have mentioned.

Mine does it on WOT only - sounds to me like a goose emoticon-0100-smile.gif

You can either

a) get used to it - I have

b ) fit a forge spacer - haven't tried it, but apparently works

c) re-locate the diverter valve

Spacer is the cheapest option but go for an adjustable one if you go down this route, so if you don't like the whooshy sound you can shut it off.

HTH.
