Skoda finally made a couple of cars which have persuaded me to brave the inevitable teasing of my contemporaries with long memories.

The Superb was the first and then there is the Yeti.

I have a petrol Honda CRV automatic (the old model) and want something with at least the same off road ability, but with better economy.

Unfortunately it still isn't possible to order a 140 or better still 170 diesel DSG. So, meanwhile, I'm lurking here hoping to learn more about the legendary beast from all you good people until Skoda get their act together.
