I just fit a Columbus RNS510 in my car. My question here: Does the navigation only work with the radio on (or Media playing music ) or is there a way to work the navigation / map without the music playing, just having the navigation announcement or map mode selected, no noise otherwise??

so, the mute button only silence the radio,(Media) not the navigation announcement? I can't find that info in the manual
