Seat/Audi bushes they are so good!

Featured Replies

Had my new bushes fitted yesterday replacing the worn oem skoda ones! and wow what a difference! i wasn't expecting much from it and in fact I was preparing myself for a harsher ride with a bit of vibration. It isn't like that at all. The handling is substantially better, more precise and feels like I have more confidence in it. whereas before it felt like it was wandering a bit.

very pleased with the result

Also i had my gearbox oil changed by Unit 18. replacing the 75w90 with 75w80 and there's a major difference in slickness when changing gears. Mainly in 1st and 2nd because before it would balk.

just thought i'd share this : ;)

Anyone considering getting their bushes replaced i'd recommend the seat/audi ones! one of the best mods you can do to it on the cheap.

Looking forward to having mine done now  . Will have to get transmission fluid changed at some point as well. Does the front feel a lot more solid?

Now I would of thought the OE Seat/VW/Audi/Skoda bushes were all the same materials. Does it not feel better to drive just because they are NEW bushes?

As for gearoil, I don't think mine has ever been changed, guess it's time now.

A lot more solid defo and before even when the original skoda oem bushes were virtually new, it seemed to tramline and wander a bit.

It corners a lot better now and feels more precise.
