Airbag light issue

Hi all,

Just thought this might be useful for someone. Recently after moving the passenger seat, I noticed the airbag light stayed on the display.

After getting the codes read by a nearby remapper, it shows the codes 01218 - side airbag signal intermittent issue (as mentioned below).

The following link basically is a useful guide, although for the Octavia vRS, you'll find there's only one main cable and connector, that needs cleaning rather than necessarily re soldering.

As a final step, I did have to have my ECU read and codes reset to clear the codes for the light to clear.
