Jerkyness under 2000rpm

Featured Replies

Lately it's become more and more annoying: no matter the gear, when driving under 2000rpm, under very slight acceleration, there's a lot of jerkyness going on. In fact, the jerkyness is there even if I'm trying to keep a constant speed, as long as the revs are under 2000 (between 1500 and 2000). From 2000 on it's smooth sailing and otherwise the car runs flawlessly. If I were to compare it to something it would be the "morning/cold engine" jerking that some people complain about, except mine seems to do it also when warm and only under 2000rpm (it's like 2000 is a magic spot or something).

Ideas?

Well cheers for the advice, that was it. Was very dirty on the engine side, cleaned it, runs perfect again

always love a cheap easy fix.

If they do another group buy on oil catch cans then grab yourself one, it should mean less sh*te going through your TB all the time so won't have to worry about cleaning it too often.
