ive just borrowed a set of std 16' x 6.5j et42 alloys from a mates as just a temporary measure while i respray my furby's rims, will they fit straight on my 55reg vrs or do i need spacers etc? theyve got the wrong size tyres anyway but im not bothered about it looking pretty just need em to do a job and hopefully not knacker anything [especially my weitecs ] for a week or 2 while im busy in the garage sorting mine out ...

Most likely, you could always run them and see if they rub, if they do sell them on again?

That's not the issue - will be the chunky tyres :yes:

Obviously the tyres will have to be ditched. Not just for the fact that they may rub, but the diameter is wrong and will affect the speedometer reading
