I have looked at the OE boost hoses and the one that fits between the turbo and intercooler looks like by design. Its squashed on the bend and looks quite restrictive. Has anyone fitted aftermarket boost hoses like Samco, Forge etc and noticed an improvement?

the SFS turbo discharge and charge pipes

this kit seems excellent. this was the prototype and was too close to the fan ruslting in chafing, SFS however redesigned their pipes, to cure this fault, and if you order from dubtek you get extra securing clamp to secure it to the block. the guy at dubtek has been running one for a few years now no issues with good gains of.

I have the neuspeed turbo outlet pipe on mine and find that is spot on

Iirc I got a 4 bhp and 8lb/ft increase

Do these SFS hoses definately fit the Octavia vRS (BWA engine)? Has anyone got them fitted to an Octavia?

i will prob get them in the future, they will definately fit though, those parts are interchangable between the GTI/Leon/octavia

I have seen the SFS hoses and was thinking of making a purchase? But I already have the neuspeed intercooler to manifold pipe already installed and only really wanted a turbo to intercooler replacement pipe. I looked at the Neupseed Hi flow discharge pipe and thats just too expenisve for what it is! Thats why I was thinking of just the boost hoses from forge or samco. Im not sure about the SFS hose being straight, as I thought the idea behind the bend was to reduce the strain when the engine moves?

you could always flog either the sfs ic/tb hose or the neuspeed one.

I have ordered the SFS intercooler hoses, they have been redesigned since the review above to give more clearance behind the rad fans.
