Oil Leaking under Engine

Featured Replies

Hello Guys,

I have a 2002 Octavia L&K 1.8T Automatic Trans. Only have 51,000 KMS

I saw some oil marks on my garage floor. I get under the front part of the car (under the engine) and the engine plate cover has oil marks on the front left side. I am using Castrol 0W30 Sintetic oil.

I check my motor engine oil and the mark on the dip stick is just a little down. Dont know how to check the automatic trans oil

Since that plate cover does not allow me to see were exactly the oil is coming I am curious if this is a regular problem and sombody knows what can be the problem. Is there is a sensor there that maybe the seal has fail? Any idea what to check?

THX,

Isaac

Here are the pics:

The only thing wet in oil I found is look like a sensor conector thats is near the AC Compresor. I think this conector comes from the Power Stering gadget that is under the AC Compresor.

Is there is a way to check the power steering fluid level?

I was touching the oil marks in the garage floor and is dry. Is not wet

What you think guys

THX,

Isaac
