anybody have any info on when the next model octavia will be released. I believe VW are releasing a mk7 golf in not not so distant future

i could be quite tempted to buy new again if there is another coming soon.

My mate Paul phoned Skoda UK to ask when the next revision was coming out. He'd seen mine and was pretty stoked about getting one but could wait if a refresh was just around the corner.

He might as well have phoned the local chip shop and asked the same question, probably have got a more useful answer they were worse than useless but did offer to phone back, haven't done so yet.

If he (or me) finds out anything concrete i'll post on here, don't hold your breath tho

not got anything yet, however its looking like im going out to germany after i finish this course, so another tax free car for me i think

There have been a couple of threads on here about it and I think the new one is due 2013/2014. Talking to my local dealer they were saying that the new Octavia will be bigger than the current one and that Skoda will slot another car inbetween the Fabia and the VRS. Hence the new Octacia will be a little bit smaller than the Superb. This would be ideal if it has the same boot space as the current Octavia but a little more rear legroom.
