nice there mate,

it has a front mount, Ide change the DV tho as said, you might find you hold more boost, as that way the only thing holdin the boost is the spring.

i know about the dv i just like the noise, its back to normal now, didnt seem to affect boost tho?

its painted in some random orange i found in halfords, was torn between blue, green or orange

Did you have to fit a new gasket when you removed it? And are those the bolts that need a certain torque when they're tightened?

When i removed my cover to polish it i reused gasket :thumbup:

The torque for the bolts is 10Nm or 7Ibf

To be honest 10Nm is so low that you can use a normal socket wrench and nick the bolts up so they are not over tight . The gasket will take up any difference. :thumbup:

I fitted a new gasket cos cam cover was leaking and decided to paint it,

didnt torque them up just nipped em n so far no leaks
