Core blimey! Sensible renewal price

Featured Replies

I insured my remapped Octy II 2.0 TDI with Admiral last year for £333. It's due for renewal in a couple of weeks so I've been searching around for quotes - Admiral/Elephant were still cheapest with all mods declared but they were still £410 or so. Everyone else was £600+.

So colour me surprised when my Admiral renewal arrived in the post this morning at only £353! That's an astonishingly sensible increase of 20 quid.

Am I the first person in the history of the world to have a sensible renewal price? Normally (even pre-remap and pre-Octy) renewals were always stupid increases of £100 or so.

quite possibly :giggle:

Every year i have had to phone the insurer to say i have a cheaper quote elsewhere, they then promtply knock 200 quid of the premium lol
