Any Ideas?

Featured Replies

My 2006 Mk2 Vrs has just started to judder when coming off the throttle, i.e. when going from accelerating to decelerating.

The engine revs are also not dropping back to idle as quickly as they should and are sometimes climbing up to 2500rpm by it's self.

At tick over it is running roughly.

No warning lights on.

Anyone have and ideas as to what's wrong?

Regards,

Stu

Anyone?

Are you using any oil?

Just wondering if the turbo seals are perhaps an issue, purely because of the revs rising themselves.

Is it a petrol or diesel VRS?

It's a petrol.

Oil used is from the dealer, Shell I think.

Had it on a fault reader today. Misfire on all cylinders and running lean. Poss air intake pipe issue?

No I mean is it drinking oil?

Another option is DMF, what happens when you put the clutch down.

As for the misfires and running lean, I'm not a petrol expert, but are the perhaps misfires coil related?
