I do love doing Porsche's, simple body lines make machining very easy..........

V.Nice car

Always a love reading your write-up black cars always look better after a detail though

Your life must be hell, Mr Baker

I presume you have to test drive the car after you've detailed it, just to make sure it's running OK ;)

Great write up and first class attention to detail ,oh and nice car as well.

another great detail mate, car looks stunning and nice work on all that tar!!

Thanks and more solid colour cars do always look better as you can see more 'grey hazing' on the car before in most cases, with lighter coloured cars it's difficult to show depth in terms of gloss but if you could feel the paintwork through each stage the end result is the same no matter what colour.............

It's not a bad life...............

Have been offered to take most of them for a spin after they have been detailed but I always refuse, don't want to get them dirty now do I.............

I've had plenty of problems getting wheels off motor's and some I just couldn't remove, always annoys me but it's down to the owner really to know that the wheels come off OK, would certainly cause problems if you had a puncture so best you know now mate............

top job as always m8

1 thing, how come your apc is so foamy?what dilution rate are you using?

mine never comes out like that lol

yip i always take the wheels off our cars when we get them so i can lube the wheel against the hub and bolts. this makes for an easy 5min change if a puncture occurs. this has taken a bit longer as ive been busy but its my normal routine, its just this time i was cleaning them when off ;)

turns out the refurb wheel was the one jambed on, garage only just managed to removed at the cost of destroying the locking wheelnut, thats how tight it was on!

If you look closely I use two different APC bottles, one with a White Head and one with a Grey Head, the White One is a foaming head, which is why you will see plenty of foam, dillution wise, usually around 10:1...............
