Long story short, battery failed this morning on my 2003 Octavia Elegance, jump start got car going but radio now looking for security code, only a serial number in the audio manual, me not a good singer.

Any clues how I can re code or do I need to book into main dealer? It's only been hours but how I miss this facility!

If the radio is the original one from the factory, you shouldn't need a code. If it has been replaced at some point, that's another matter.

Normally takes mine about 30 seconds to unlock.
