See pic above, something (or possibly someone) has been chewing on my aerial. Any ideas what and how I can prevent it?

Replace it with a metal whip type aerial.

I have had mice chew my aerial on my old Octavia I know it was mice because of the droppings on the roof of the car :'(

Then look for local cats without teeth ?

Could be squirrels they like rubber / plastic when in roof spaces especially mains cables :'(

Maybe you should hook the aerial & bodyshell upto a powersource one night, and see what black and crispy things are attached to the car in the morning

Could have been somebody pulling and bending it back and forward until it snap off.
