after reading many reviews about sidelights on these boards i decided to change the miserable looking sidelights , so i oppted for a recommendation that someone had already used led 's wich seemed like a good idea anyways i recieved my non canbus error led's from fleabay yesterday and having chewed on for ages replacing the damn things ( scuffed knuckles ) they come for 3 seconds a go out again leaving a error reading on the dash board does this mean there is no built in resitor i have read else where on other sites this is the case ....just iam going to ring the guy from fleabay so ineed to know and could someone recomend a decent looking sidelight ..........cheers will

Guess i was lucky i just bought any old led sidelight and it workes perfect no error codes or nothing :thumbup: to me i say :giggle:

Some might say it's because the Fabia vRS is not fully CANBUS though ..........

Wondering if there are any ultra white standard filament bulbs out there that will not give any problems, but still show a white light rather than yellow -- the standard bulbs stand out like a sore thumb against xenons.

Yes, pop a pair of Philips Bluevision 501 bulbs in, despite their name and the blue coating on them they produce a brilliant bright white light. :thumbup:

(BTW I have not used the above seller, it's purely a link to show the bulbs.)
