Trying (very hard) to get my second Skoda. Love my first (Octavia vRS Diesel Estate) but really hacked off with Skoda customer service.

Was all set to be enjoying a brand new vRS by now. But it's late and my old one has just died. So I'm fed up.

When you bought the car did the dealer give you a round about date on when you would be getting it.

Yeah, they told me it would be roughly a couple of weeks ago. Now we're looking at December :(

I see youre in Kent, like me ,Who have you ordered your car from, Motorline in Canterbury?

Has the dealer given you a build week yet ?

As you have prob seen from the site new orders are taking an average of 16 weeks to build with 2 - 3 week delivery time, so if like me you really like the cars ( this will be my 4th) then the wait will be worth it

My local dealer is Adamsons, & when I ordered my car, the guy that owns the dealership told me that he had 5 customers from Ashford / Canterbury order their cars from him because of the customer service from these local dealers.

P.S. We have a Kent meet in Maidstone every month ( families welcome), next one is Sat 2nd Oct - take a look in the Meetings forum - South East - Maidstone meet. You can get plenty of tip with any major or minor niggles you have

Yeah Motorline.

Service from dealer has been "patchy". I've had a couple of issues where I felt very very fed up with them (though TBH I'm not certain whether the problems were with Skoda or Motorline) and have exchanged some "tough words". Had a l-o-n-g talk with their area manager and it seems to have smoothed things.

At the moment (i.e. with an order for a 20+ K car in the balance) they are being very helpful indeed. They have loaned me an Octy Ecopower because they remembered I'm a photographer and so need to haul lots of gear while they look at the vRS. If only they could hook mine up to diagnostics sooner than next week. We know the answer but need it confirming by them before we can move forward.

Unfortunately can't make the 2nd - I have a little wedding to shoot Did I mention I'm a photographer?
