i am considering a stage 1 remap for my soon to arrive petrol octavia vrs

i am just a little concerned about the effect on the fuel consumption

i am led to believe that i will achieve circa 38/40 mpg as standard

what will i get with the standard stage 1 remap

I've got a Jabba remap and I achieve at least as good MPG figures on the motorway as I did previously. I can get well into the 40's depending on conditions. 38-40 is about average on mine even after the remap.
