Build Date Delay Compensation

Featured Replies

Hi all, got a call from SUK today. My car was ordered on 17th may 2010 (pre-ordered dealer vehicle ,4 week old order) was told by dealer would have it in 12 weeks, making a total of 16 weeks from original dealer order.

Car was delivered to me on 3rd september 20 weeks from original order, 16 weeks from order being "Tagged" form me.

I have been offered and accepted £150 compensation for the delay.

The important point the person on the phone mentioned is that SUK have moved the length of time to qualify for compensation from over 16 weeks to over 18 weeks.

Oh dear moving the goal posts what a surprise.

At least you have yours.

Yep, i had it 5 whole days then some ******** in a Nissan Navara rear ended it on sept 7, should hopefully get it back tomorrow. :(

5h1t - thats not exactly a small car to hit you, hope theirs came off worse.

& hopefully it wont affect your warranty.

My car was 16 weeks (5th may - 5th sept)

When I contacted skoda they told me to contact dealer, at which point i was informed it was 18 weeks.

What great customer service . NOT
