ive an Octy MK2 2009 pre FL VRS, im pretty new at this and it seems a lot of money if i get it wrong! id need a new suround i know but would fitting be straight forward?

edit: Also would i still be able to use the factory cd changer in the boot!?

I have never done it myself but i know a few people on here have, AFAIK it is just a case of pulling the surround of the dash, undoing the 4 screws to remove your current headunit and then withdrawing it from the dash, the doing the reverse with the Columbus. As you have a DSG boxed car I presume you have maxidot. You will then have to find someone with the relevent knowledge and VCDS software to code the Columbus to your car so the display will work in maxidot etc.
