Compaq N800c laptop - £50

Featured Replies

Fully working, complete with a genuine copy of XP Pro (fresh install), complete with the recovery discs. COA license sticker on the base.

Some wear around the edges, will upload photos later. But fully functioning screen etc.

P4-M 1.7Ghz, 30Gb hard drive, 512Mb RAM, 15" screen. 2x USB, monitor output etc.

Includes a genuine power pack. Battery doesn't hold much charge anymore, but a replacement can be sought on eBay for £20ish, if you want to use it away from the mains.

A good general machine really, maybe for kid's use? Can easily go wireless with the addition of a PCMCIA card or a USB wireless adaptor. Can be supplied in addition, if required.

Cheers,

Steve

Photos now added.

Thanks,

Is postage on top of the £50 Steve?

  • Author

Yes, it is. As it would be around £10 I reckon.

Provisionally sold now, but I'll keep the thread updated if anything changes.

Cheers,

Steve

UPDATE:

This one's now sold, but I do have another of the same model. It has more RAM in it though; 1.25Gb total (1No. 1Gb module, 1No. 256Mb module).

If anyone's interested in that, drop me a PM. I can send pictures through if required. Like the first one, it could probably do with a new battery - but apart from that everything works as it should. Batteries are £20ish from eBay.

Can offer this at £60 with next-day delivery. The extra 1Gb RAM was added recently and I can supply the original box for this if required. It's Kingston so good quality and retails at £30 on its own! So a good deal really

I'm having a fairly large IT clear-out and forgot I had these! :dull: Not worrying at all.... ;)

Cheers!

Steve
