Tavia VRS Bulbs....

Featured Replies

Hi all, i am looking at ordering some new bulbs for my dad's motor, as they seem to be going ****-pot yellow! (Clio has much better lights ;) ) So, i have been to www.powerbulbs.com and am looking at ordering the Philips Blue vision. Am i right in going for the H4 units? Are the dipped / main beam all on the same bulb in the car? He will even get a free set of the philips blue vision, ULTRA white side lights, again, what i have in the clio. If someone can confirm that these H4's are what i need, i shall order them today! Cheers guys, Rob.

Yep for non-Xenon cars, you need H4 (dipped and main in same bulb) and H3 for foglights. Side lights are W5W :D

Get the Vision Plus or the Osram silver stars intead of the blue vision, IMHO

Vision plus are also listed.........you think they will be better? I have the Bosch Xenon power in the clio, cost a cool

Osram Silver stars ordered, Bargain :) cheers guys

Recently fitted Philips Vision Plus. Not sure they are worth the money IMHO. Are whiter but seem mainly to put more extra light unto the hedgerows etc rather than further along the road. Osram scored slightly better in a magazine group buy, but I could not find them in any locla shop and am not a fan of mail order.

well i convinced ma old man he needed new bulbs after he was in my car, and i light the road up white, and his was like an old yellow street lamp lol........i fail to see how these can't be an improvement on the old worn down standard bulbs :D the sidelights are mint too. ANy of you Xenon guys who have standard sidelights, get some philips blue vision, the ice white complements xenon's nicely! ;)

Rob

They should be a small improvement, just not the 50% they claim. The standard non Xenon head lights in Octy 2, show how fantastic head lights can be with out resorting to Xenon.
