theres a mapper a few mile away from me who gets a very good name, he claims to custom remap each car and can tailor for my needs, ie peak torque being moved up the revs. altho to my understanding i thought a RR was required for a custom map, perhaps my misunderstanding?

Nope, plenty of custom maps are done without RR. Mine was the first time, and will be next time, just get it RR`d after.

got a custom one from richard washbrook no rr....

tbh it is better if its on a dyno so the map can be fine tweaked as only so much can be guessed

basically richards company is oscarli.... i never actually dealed with richard, i did email him and he suggested going to one of his 'dealers' so i got my map via ads global

they mapped car via map from richard, i test drove it, paid money and went on my merry way

was phenomenal compared to the muck stage 2 map that was on it

Good to hear, mine is having its next map from there as we speak.

Richard will still have my map on file

Reg is ja53 vrs

Torque was low but no torque spike max torque was at 3.8k rpm

Around 310lb-ft

Power was anywhere from 220-230bhp

Had the egr delete in it too
