Foggy Headlight

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

Ive just noticed that my passangers side headlight is damp inside .

I have removed indicator bulb and dried it out with a hair dryer and sealed the plastic bulb cover but its still fogging up.

Im going to take headkight out to try and seal around the whole light to see if that works .

Question is how do you get the headlight out i have removed all the bolts i can see but it wont come out.

Hope someone can help.

Regards Whoosh

I wouldn't bother taking it out or looking at the seal until you've made absolutely sure the cover for getting at the dipped / sidelight / main beam bulbs is seated correctly. It's VERY easy to get one or other of the lugs on the bottom out of place, meaning moisture will get in in bad weather...

To remove the headlamp you need to remove the front bumper first, although I think some people on here have managed to remove the headlamp without taking the bumper off. Hopefully one of them will come along and tell you how they did it.
