just been onto my dealer about my new vrs and they said week 48, does this mean it will be ready or will start being built on week 48 as i really want my car now. the dealership is new (lightcliffe in warrington) and they dont seem to know to much as this is there first skoda dealership as they own other vw dealerships in yorkshire. any help on this would be great thanks as i ordered it on the 31st of july and have now heard that there is a shutdown over xmas at the factory.

it looks like they have given you a BUILD week.

my understanding is that you should add about 3 weeks onto this for delivery

however i think you should probably add another week or 2 for xmas shut down
