Hi all, I have an 09 octavia vrs with a stream hd and want to upgrade to a touch screen. I've never done anything like this before and am wary of spending so much and getting it wrong! I understand I'll need a new surround too but will I need it programmed to work with the rear parking sensors, and what about maxidot?

Would someone be willing to help me install & code if I take the plunge? I don't think I'm bothered about sat nav as I have a tom-tom rider that I use on my bike, so what would be my best option unit wise?

You could fit the Bolero head unit if you are not bothered about the Sat nav, along with a 32Gb sdhc card you will have an excellent unit with more than enough music for most people, you will need a surround, most dealers can help you out and someone local to you with Vag Com / VCSD to code it to your maxidot if you have it. Not sure about Canbus gateway compatibility with the Bolero, I know its an issue with some of the Columbus units.
