What to avoid?

Featured Replies

As the owner of a Superb elegance 140 tdi (mk1) the one with the oil pump balance shaft problem. & DPF problem. I was wondering if any of the new models have similar, or indeed other problems which would put people off buying a particular model/engine. Is there a consensus on the the forum as to the best model to buy?

Thanks.

Forget about the old model. The difference between the old and new Superb is like night and day.

I would get the highest spec you can afford and I personally do not regret getting the 170cr Elegance for a second.

(Would have loved the V6 petrol model though if petrol was cheaper!!)

I agree completely with G.K.
