Well I am still here, on 180k and don't post up much in here anymore, spend my time in other's sections of Briskoda but just thought I would share it's current state:

Well hopefully by saying all is well it will be for a while longer, it just needs a lube service at the moment ready for the colder climate ahead, only recent problem was the turbo and brakes, lost my vacumm pump so had to replace that so no big deal............

If I could have afforded to have changed by now then maybe I would but really there is no need to change at the moment, I am hoping to see it over 200k and then I will get a new motor in the summer of next year, more than likely an Audi of some description..........

I am currently rolling around in an Octavia vRS MK2 so the Superb isn't being used much at the moment.............. :S

How's the Phaeton going? We are well on the way producing many Rear Lamps now here at work for the Facelift Phaeton.............. :yes:

The Phaeton is going fine. Im looking into some of these as I am hoping they may fit my car. Apart from the lights and grill tweak, I really cannot see any difference in the car at all.

I am a big fan of the Phaeton, the V10 TDi is amazing I think, but probably completely unnecessary unless towing all the time... but then the best things in life cannot really be justified, right?

Is it reliable, have you had any issues with it, how is the mpg on a run?

Its running fine. I have small leak in the power steering somewhere thats proving a pig to find. I am just topping up about a quarter of a litre every four weeks thought the car is in for its 100k service very soon, so the garage will have a proper look for it this time.

MPG is doing well depending on the type of drive. I get 35+ MPG on a good motorway run with about 21-23 mpg n town driving.

Im suprised its thats high. seems to be exactly the same as my 2.5 TDi ! Thanks
