Fitting mud flaps

Featured Replies

If you are fitting mud flaps the tool you need is hidden away in the spare wheel stuff.

One end does the screws and the other for coaxing the flap onto the wheel arch.

I know this might appear a silly question, Phil, but do I have to remove each wheel in turn first?

No.

No you don't. Just put the fronts on full lock to fit. The rears are easier.

The only 'hard' part is getting a drill into the front wheel arch with the wheels on, as there is no hole for the innermost fixing currently there, it's not difficult, but there is not an awful lot of room with the wheel on.

I fitted mine outside in December without jacking the car up.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a go.

I just took the wheels off to make it easier, no problem drilling then
