Well yesterday afternoon as I drove home I turned down my street and low and behold the very first Yeti I have laid eyes on on UK soil (on Saturday March the 27th 2010) was parked in my street again!!! Had to go around the block and take a picture of the pair (both sporting roof rails and a sunroof!).

It was this very Yeti that made me go: "YES! That is my next car". I've seen the Yeti of course a few times at the motor shows I go to, but never on a street between other cars. I loved how wide and low it looked and how it just ooozed presence. And low and behold, on the 6th of April I ordered one and took delivery last week. All because of that Yeti you see in the picture above behind mine!

[The eagle eyed will also spot that the "boarding spots" on my Yeti were still on after getting out of the car!]

A month in and I still haven't met another Yeti whilst in mine :( Come on Manchester Yetis, where are you all?

Awh!!!! I did not think of that! Yes that is indeed the very first other Yeti my car sniffed around or saw. I'm excluding Pat at Allams and Billun777's at the dealers, since my Yeti has been sniffing around those as well...

Hehehe yes.... but they did not have owners yet and did not count! [in my Monster's world anyway!] We're talking tamed Monsters here! Unsold or nearly made ones in the factory does not count!

Look out for my red one in Macclesfield - sometimes risk going as far as the M60

I have seen a red one (prior to getting mine) zooming around Manchester but never managed to see what model it was, haven't seen it for a while though.

Hahha. No I was playing with it to see if the sunroof trick James told me about works! And it did! Twisting the ring again after doing the auto open moves the roof further by another 100mm or so!! Very neat.
