Hello everyone!

i found this great forum while trying to find so information on installing a car audio system in my new Skoda Fabia 2009.

My first task is to run a wire from the main battery to the amplifier and i am looking for a dedicated hatch from the bulkhead to the cabin (meaning going through the firewall) , i have read different discussions in this forum and understood i don't have to drill a whole because there is some kind of a dedicated hatch which u can run my 12V wire through.

i also found a great link here, to a detailt, step by step manual with pictures (http://www.theiansons.co.uk/skodaamp/FurbyPower.htm) but this is a different model and mine looks different.

can anyone help me by suggesting how to find this hatch or hole i can run a wire from?

i can only speak for the octavia but it may be the same, there is a gromit behind the a/c unit behind the glovebox, absolute pain to get to but its there! you will have to take the scuttle panel out so you you might aswell give the pollen filter a clean too! a black one is there with nothing going through it,

hope it helps but i can only be confident it is there with the octavia!

fabia mark 1 also has a grommet behind the glove box. Might be the same on fabia 2.
