Ball Joint At 28000 Miles!

Had been hearing a slight rumbling for about a week now. Things started to get worse over the weekend. Tookit into work this morning and checked out the left front suspension as thats where the noise was from. First thought was wheel bearing. Lots of play in wheel, but on closer inspection, found the bottom ball joint to be FUBAR'd! :(

All that road and track abuse on stiffer springs and bigger wheels has caught up with the poor old girl! :rolleyes: Warranty void by suspension and wheel upgrades, so there was me thinking the worst. Phoned Euro Car Parts and got a quote of 12 squid for a genuine ball joint. RESULT!!! :D

Yeah they are cheap aren't they. Just replacing mine as a precaution. I need new bushes at the front so rather than just buy the bushes I bought complete lower arms (they come with bushes in so no hassle fighting to get the new ones in) with ball joints and all new bolts, total price was
