Painting interior plastics

Featured Replies

I've decided I don't like the dark blue plastics on the interior of my silver Octy Mk1 VRS with full black leather seats and am thinking of painting them some other colour, maybe metallic black.

There's plenty of info on how to do this on the internet and I'm quite capable of doing a proper job, but I'm not sure about what colour(s) to use - I'm pretty hopeless at co-coordinating colours, as my dress-sense shows for all to see, and I don't want to end up with the car equivalent of the house decorated with a replica of The Enterprise's interior (yes, people have done it).

Has anyone done anything to their interior colours and what does your scheme look like?

Cheers,

Ian

Don't use metallic black on the interior. You want piano black.

Or maybe a dark gunmetal grey?

nothing too bright or you'll look all Maxx Power.
