I have just noticed that the 3 lamps at each end of the centre break light are permanently dimly on, even when the car is off and locked. When the brake pedal is used all the other bulbs come on properly but the ends stay dim. Any ideas what has caused this and how to stop it?

Thanks for that, had no water out of rear washer for about a week even though I can hear the pump working. I assumed it was frozen or dirt in the nozzle. I guess I will be taking the boot apart tomorrow.
