Clutch adjustment possible ?

Featured Replies

Thanks to all on here that have advised me in the last few days on a clutch problem (random occasional difficulty in getting into and out of 1st and reverse).

I realise thw clutch and DMF will need replacing, but if i could delay the expsense for a while, tht would be nice !

Car is booked in with a VW specialist to check and report on 5th January, and he mentioned the possibility of a little manual adjustment, despite the fact its a

self-adjusting clutch.

Anyone know about this possibility with some certainty either way ?

And an unrelated question - which of the admin folk on Briskoda do i contact re activating my Freedom membership?. Its been 5 days since i made payment.

I appreciate folk are away, busy etc, but I've got no way of checking whether a membership request has even been received with the appropriate person

cheers ;)

Thanks very much. I figured that was the case, and the 'junior' mechanic had it wrong

cheers
